A new tourist campaign is launched in Madeira, London

As tourism to the islands reopens, the Madeira Promotion Bureau is launching an eight-week London cab campaign.

The piece is accompanied by Ubiqtaxis and British Airways partners.

The campaign in London for the debut of a new brand identity for the destination in April, including publicity on a total of 100 cabs throughout the city.

The advertising strengthens the sense of belonging and demonstrates a variety of activities in this region, providing experiences, countryside, culture, food, and memories for a journey that is unmatched.

Nuno Vale, Director of Madeira Promotion Bureau says: "We felt that London taxis were a great opportunity for increasing awareness and therefore an excellent match with the co-branding campaigns that have been in place with our main partners and stakeholders in the UK in a year of great challenges in the tourist sector, and, especially, having recently been added to the green list. Our business-to-business and business-to-consumer communication are currently digital. That's why we've had the right time to start a campaign out of the home we haven't had with the London cab for some time now.

"We needed more action approaches to include a QR for all the designs, exterior, tip seats, and income. "This was essential, and it was our collaboration with British Airways.

"The impact of the promotion will thus be measured and, ideally, short-term reservations generated."
