Space Flights ticket sales are opened by Virgin Galactic

One hour ago Virgin Galactic began space voyage ticket sales at USD 450,000 per seat.

The action happens weeks after a high-level trip to the edge of space took place by the billionaire company's founding member, Richard Branson.

The corporation of space tourism indicated that next year it will proceed with the start of revenue flights.

It will offer individual seats, packages, and whole flights.

In June, the U.S. Aviation Safety Regulatory approved Virgin Galactic for spaceflight.

Virgin Galactic claimed that initial sales will open to a roster of "early hand-raisers."

"We have made significant progress in the second quarter in 2022 towards the start of business service.

"We have successfully conducted two new Mexico Spaceflight operations, the latest with a full crew of cabin mission experts and an amazing worldwide media response.

"We have also got FAA clearance to broaden the current license to launch a Spaceline for the first time," stated Michael Colglazier, CEO of Virgin Galactic.

"We are delighted to announce today the effective revival of sales, starting with our Spacefarer community, by leveraging the spike in customer excitement in the Unity 22 mission.

"We are pleased to open the doors to a completely new industry and consumer experience as we strive to bring the marvel of space to a large global populace."

The firm reported a net loss of 94 million dollars during the last three months, releasing its quarterly results.

Compared with a net loss of $72 million in the second quarter of 2020.

The firm claimed revenues of 571,000$, hardly sufficient for a future flight to cover one seat.
